Day 24 – April Photo A Day – A Pop Of Colour

Still waiting and time’s up. Tomorrow is the new d-day, also known as induction day. I can tell this one is going to be stubborn because she just doesn’t want to come out. So I’m having one last cup of (caffeine free) tea in my favourite colourful mug before trying for an early night. I don’t know how much sleep I’ll actually get though. I’ve also been knitting the baby blanket I started so long ago, just to have something to keep me occupied so top myself from going crazy. Unfortunately I still haven’t finished it, even with all this extra time. Maybe for the next baby!

Project 365 2012 – Day 275

Cookie Mug

I know I like my big mugs, but on occasion I do drink out of normal sized mugs. I got this awesome Cookie Monster mug at Universal Studios in Osaka two years ago. There was so much cool stuff in the gift shop and normally I don’t buy anything at theme parks, but this was too cute to pass up. The husband has a green Oscar the Grouch version. I think it suits our personalities quite well. Him: grumpy and dislikes people. Me: greedy and simple minded and food obsessed. I’m very surprised that these guys survived baggage handling and made it back in one piece!

Big Stupid Mug’s New Friend

My favourite mug is a giant soup mug that I got from Target over 10 years ago that my husband calls my Big Stupid Mug. Today I found the Big Stupid Mug a Big Stupid Friend. Now I have two lovely big mugs to drink milo out of and I won’t be as devastated when the inevitable happens and the original Big Stupid Mug dies.

Project 365 2012 – Day 152

Big Stupid Mug

This is my favourite mug I bought over 10 years ago from Target for the massive price of $1.50. It’s much bigger than a normal mug and it’s a lovely navy colour. I love drinking milo out of it on cold nights. My husband calls it my big stupid mug because it doesn’t fit with the rest of our mugs and he thinks it’s a greedy size, but I love it. I hope it never breaks because I don’t think I could live without it!
