About

I love cookies and I love milk, and together they are a perfect combination. Inspired by the Threadless tee designed by Jess Fink Cookie Loves Milk, I am a short, round, happy little cookie in love with my tall white skinny milk husband. Instead of an engagement ring I asked for a DSLR camera and got a Canon 550D, which I completely adore. It’s also the gift that keeps on giving, new lenses, accessories, bags, filters, and others. I’ve always loved looking at pretty and inspiring things, and maybe one day I will able to produce beautiful photos too.

I have always been driven by routine and structure, but recently I’ve been pushing myself to try new things even when it scares me. Hopefully it makes me a stronger and more open person, because it doesn’t come naturally to me.

This is a blog about snippets of my newly married life and the things in life that I love including photography, food, and random things.

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Cookie I love the honey comb shoe storage [rack]. Wish I could do it in I and my husbands apartment. I’ll have to run this idea by the leasing agent. Her name is Vicky E. Her personality is one of the things that brought us to make “The Savannah” our 1st and likely to be the only place we’ll ever live. We got married just before I was 50 and just after my husband was 50. Who needs a house?! We have a townhouse apartment. I love it!

    Thanks,

  2. Hi Cookie Loves Milk, I found your blog because of the cool shoe rack. I like your pictures and can relate to your growth goals. Wishing you all the best of luck in your endeavors. Think the camera in lieu of ring is clever. It reminds me of a very good friend who I used to date. He would always buy me things I would use every day… because that way I would always think of him! I may still have a couple things he bought me nearly 30 years later. Most of all, I have the memories of the things he’d say, the essence of who he was! He was 20 years my senior and has passed on to a better place, but I still remember & carry his presence with me. Especially: “All’s well that ends well” and “There’s a divinity that shapes our ends, rough hew them as we may.” (Shakespeare)

  3. Hi Cookie! :) I love your blog. It’s just adorable. I hope and pray everything’s well with your pregnancy and can’t wait to see what other photos you post. God bless!
