I wasn’t really sure what to make of today’s theme so it’s a bit random. The husband has been busy fixing, patching and painting the nursery. It was a horrible pink (make that 3 shades of pink) and was terribly flaky. We decided to strip the paint, only to discover that it was a complete mess underneath. Half patched, primer on the patched parts, no primer on most other parts, wallpaper glue… it was just a complete lack of care, which took ages to rectify. It’s patched and painted now, complete with new skirting boards and it looks so much better. Even just having the primer on it looked amazing compared to what was originally there.
So what does that have to do with today’s post? Unfortunately the walls are a bit warped so he had to shave down some of the skirting boards to fit. I really love the way the shavings curls up. Might post some photos of the finished room later.
Here’s another photo I took today that I really liked, but thought the wood shavings were more interesting than yet another flower photo.
