Today’s cooking experiment, pork belly with caramel dressing.
I love pork belly but I’ve never tried making it myself. It was an impulse purchase but has been sitting in the freezer for a few weeks before I wasn’t really sure what to do with it.
So I kept it simple and roasted it in the oven and made a five spice caramel dressing using a simple recipe I found on the internet. It was beautifully cooked, tender and juicy, and my only regret was that I didn’t buy a bigger piece!
